On Point Disposal Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the dumpster rental services provided by On Point Disposal (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking, renting, or using our services, you (“Customer”) agree to the following:

1. Rental Agreement

A rental agreement is formed when you place an order and receive confirmation from us.
Rentals include delivery, placement, pickup, and a specified rental period and tonnage allowance.
Additional fees will apply if the dumpster is used outside the agreed terms.

2. Rental Period

Standard rental periods are [Insert number of days].
Additional charges apply for extended time: $8 per day or $56 per week beyond the included rental period.

3. Weight Allowance & Overages

Each rental includes a set weight allowance of [Insert tons].
Overages are billed at $150 per ton over the included weight.
The landfill or transfer station’s certified scale ticket will determine the actual weight.

4. Prohibited Materials

Customers may not dispose of hazardous or restricted items in any dumpster.

A $300+ fee will be automatically charged if hazardous or restricted materials are found.
Additional disposal costs or fines imposed by facilities may also be billed to the Customer.

Examples of Hazardous/Restricted Materials include (but are not limited to):

Paints, stains, and solvents (especially oil-based)
Motor oil, gasoline, diesel, propane tanks, or other fuel containers
Chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers
Asbestos, adhesives, or insulation materials
Medical waste, sharps, or other biohazard materials
Car batteries or other lead-acid batteries
Corrosive or flammable liquids

5. Placement & Access

The Customer is responsible for providing a suitable location for delivery.
Dumpsters may not be moved once placed.
Adequate clearance must be provided (free from cars, wires, trees, or other obstructions).
If pickup or delivery is prevented due to blocked access, a trip fee will be charged.

6. Damage & Liability

The Customer is responsible for any damage to driveways, surfaces, or property resulting from dumpster placement.
On Point Disposal is not liable for damages to lawns, curbs, driveways, or underground utilities.
The Customer is responsible for the contents of the dumpster until pickup.

7. Payment & Fees

Payment for the base rental is due at booking.
By providing a payment method, the Customer authorizes On Point Disposal to charge additional fees as applicable.

Additional Fees:

Extra time: $8 per day / $56 per week
Overweight loads: $150 per ton over allowance
Mattresses/Box Springs: $100 each
Tires: $8–$25 each (depending on size/disposal requirements)
Hazardous materials: $300+ minimum fee
Blocked access or relocation of dumpster: Service fee will apply

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Standard Cancellations: Orders canceled at least 24–48 hours before delivery may be refunded.
Late Cancellations: A $150 cancellation fee applies if:
- The dumpster is canceled within 1 hour of scheduled delivery, OR
- The driver is already en route, OR
- The dumpster is canceled upon arrival.
  The remainder of the rental cost will be refunded.
After Delivery: Once the dumpster has been delivered, cancellations are non-refundable.

9. Indemnification

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless On Point Disposal from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from use of the dumpster, including improper loading or disposal of prohibited materials.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Rhode Island.
